Surf.
Praia do Guincho is just a 3-minute walk from the lodge and is renowned for its excellent wave and wind conditions, making it ideal for wave surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing.
Praia Grande, a 20-minute drive north, is known for catching significant swell, while the neighboring Praia Pequena is often less crowded and offers a more secluded experience.
If the waves on the west coast become too intense, Praia de São Pedro, a short 20-minute drive south, provides a fantastic alternative with more manageable conditions. Nearby Praia de Carcavelos, with its long beach, is another excellent option.
Costa da Caparica, a bit further at around a 40-minute drive, offers a vast beach with numerous surf spots catering to different skill levels and preferences.
For even more surf options, Ericeira is a 50-minute drive from the lodge and provides a variety of great surf spots.
Activities.
Endless Walks & Hikes, the area offers a multitude of walking and hiking trails, ranging from forest paths to coastal cliffs. Quinta do Pisão, just a 10-minute drive from the lodge, features a beautiful park where you can stroll among farm animals and pick your own vegetables.
Climbing & Bouldering, Sintra and Cascais provide excellent opportunities for climbing and bouldering. Discover fantastic boulder rocks in the forest and explore numerous climbing routes along the scenic ocean cliffs.
Golf, the region boasts several stunning golf courses, perfect for a relaxing day on the greens.
Bike & Cycle, enjoy a scenic bike ride from the lodge to Cascais along a picturesque ocean and cliffside path. For more adventure, the Sintra forest offers a variety of bike trails suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders.
